Coming to Hulu: ‘Woke’ (Trailer)

July 9, 2020 - Hulu released the official teaser for upcoming comedy series, Woke, set to premiere on September 9, only on Hulu. 

New Comedy Series

Inspired by the life and career of artist Keith Knight, comedy series Woke follows Keef (Lamorne Morris), a Black cartoonist finally on the verge of mainstream success when an unexpected incident changes everything. Keef must process new voices and ideas that confront and challenge him, all without setting aflame everything he’s already built. The series also stars Morris, T. Murph and Blake Anderson.

Co-creators, Marshall Todd and Keith Knight serve as executive producers alongside showrunner Jay Dyer, Maurice “Mo” Marable, Aeysha Carr, Richie Schwartz, John Will, Will Gluck, and Eric Christian Olsen. Kate Schumaecker will executive produce the pilot.

Woke is a co-production between ABC Studios and Sony Pictures Television Inc.
