Abbot Elementary returns to San Diego Comic- Con in style bringing A.V.A. Fest (A Very Abbott Festival) to life for convention goers according to The Wrap. Prepare yourself for an "over-the-top" carnival activation.
Where:
Located at Fifth Avenue Landing (directly behind the convention center - Parking Lot B (601 Convention Way, San Diego, CA 92101), A.V.A. Fest is set to run the length of the show: Thrusday, July 25 through Sunday, July, 28.
Hours of operation:
Thursday 7/25: 9:30am to 7pm
Friday 7/26: 9:30am to 7pm
Saturday 7/27: 9:30am to 6:30pm
Sunday 7/28: 9:30am to 5pm
There will be a variety of attractions inspired by the series including:
Mr. Johnson’s Closet of Curiosities,
Gregory’s Garden Goofballs, and
Principal Ava-inspired swing ride “Finest One in, First One Out”
Barbara’s “Blessed and Pressed”,
Melissa’s MVP Showdown,
Janine’s “Reach for the Stars” challenge
To set the mood, the Philadelphia Eagles Drumline will perform hourly, and The Roots’ Questlove's (Ava's former bandmate) specially curated playlist will play for the run of the fest.
